Van Nistelrooy discusses defender Lenny Yoro’s return to training, plays down concerns over Marcus Rashford’s fitness, says he has yet to have any contact with incoming manager Ruben Amorim, and emphasizes that he remains focused on doing his best for the club as long as he is in charge.

He also addresses the progress of other injured players’ recoveries, the outcome of an internal inquiry into last season’s injury count, and whether he believes the squad is strong enough for Amorim to implement his playing style from Sporting Lisbon.
