Five Strikers Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s Manchester United should sign in the January Transfer window. The Norwegian manager confirmed that Man United will be in for a striker in the coming transfer window with Man Utd looking light up top after allowing Belgium international Romelu Lukaku to move on a permanent deal to the Serie A - joining Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan and he was followed by his ex Man United teammate, Chilean international Alexis Sanchez.

First on our list is Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic, the Croatian is the perfect temporary signing to fill the striker void at United that draws similarities with Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s arrival at the club in 2016. He’s a perfect professional, works hard both on and off the pitch and he’s been directly involved in at least a goal every other game in the Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A. The Croatian international has always stepped up on the big stage too, scoring goals in the Champions league final & World cup semi-final in the past three years.

Second on our list we’ve got Lyon striker Moussa Dembele. The Ligue 1 side have had a poor start to the season - Sylvinho’s side are currently sitting 11’th in the French first division, but this has not stopped Dembele from scoring goals and performing - the French international has scored a goal every 97 minutes in the league and is joint top scorer on six goals with Habib Diallo and Nigerian international Victor Osimhen.

Moving on to our third choice, Erling Braut Haland. The Norwiegen international has had an incredible start to the season with Austrian side RB Salzburg, already scoring 15 goals in the T-Mobile Bundesliga and the Champions League, the young prodigy really burst on to the scene after scoring nine goals in three games for Norway in the U-20 World Cup over summer 2019. The real step up for the young Norge was scoring a hat-trick on his Champions League debut against Genk, the first teenager to manage that after Wayne Rooney netted three against Turkish side Fenerbahce at Old Trafford, back in 2004.

Our fourth Victor Osimhen and fifth choice Donyell Malen are just 20 years old! PSV’s Donyell Malen currently sitting as the top scorer in the Eredivisie, has had an incredible start to the season - the Dutch international has managed a goal every 86 minutes in the League. Osimhen isn’t a clinical striker like Lewandowski. But his movement gets him a high number of chances like an Aubameyang-style striker. High number of chances, not clinical finishing. If we look at the two chances, he had vs. Ajax in the Champions League. He should have scored twice. A player that can handle the ball into feet with a defender on his back ready to link the play, his assist for Remy’s goal vs. Strasbourg was an example of using him as a pivot point.

Which striker do you think Man United should sign in the winter transfer window?
