Alisha Lehmann has once again sparked a huge debate in the football world. ???? The Swiss star questioned why Lionel Messi can earn an incredibly massive salary while female footballers receive only a fraction of that amount. According to Lehmann, elite female players work just as hard, with some even feeling that they work harder than male players. And Messi was immediately brought up as the example. ???????????? Her comments have reignited the debate over the gender pay gap, with some arguing that salaries are more heavily influenced by viewership, club reve nues, sponsorships, investment, and the overall size of the market. So what do you guys think? Does Lehmann have a strong point, or is comparing women’s football salaries to Messi’s simply unrealistic? ????
