Manchester United have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Andrey Santos in a deal worth £48 million plus £2 million in achievable add-ons, with Chelsea also inserting a 10% sell-on clause. The 22-year-old has been given permission to undergo his medical after personal terms were agreed, but is this really the right move for United?

For many fans, the biggest question isn't whether Santos has talent—it's whether he's worth a fee that could reach £50 million. With Manchester United needing proven quality in midfield, this deal is already dividing opinion. Has the club overpaid for potential, or could Santos prove the doubters wrong at Old Trafford?
