Chelsea defeated Manchester United 2–1 at Stamford Bridge in the 2010/11 Premier League on 1 March 2011. United took the lead through Wayne Rooney in the first half, but Chelsea fought back after the break as David Luiz scored his first goal for the club to make it 1–1. Frank Lampard then converted a late penalty to complete Chelsea's comeback and give them a crucial three points in the title race.
