Cristiano Ronaldo trains with Portugal ahead of Euro 2016 warm-up match against Estonia
Ronaldo and Portugal will face Estonia in Lisbon on Wednesday before travelling to France ahead of their opening match of the competition against Iceland
Cristiano Ronaldo trained alongside his Portugal teammates on Tuesday ahead of their friendly with Estonia on Wednesday night.
Ronaldo enjoyed some downtime in Ibiza in the week following Real Madrid's Champions League triumph over Atletico Madrid but it's back to business for the 31-year-old now, as he prepares to skipper Fernando Santos' side at the European Championship.
He appeared in good spirits as he shared a joke with Ricardo Carvalho and Ricardo Quaresma.
Portugal will host Estonia at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon before travelling to their Euro 2016 training base in Marcoussis, a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris.
Ronaldo and co will play their opening match of the tournament against Iceland next Tuesday, before fixtures against Austria and Hungary.
Former Manchester United star Ronaldo missed Portugal's friendly defeat to England at Wembley last week, citing the need to rest after Real Madrid's Champions League exploits.
After the final in Milan, in which he scored the winning goal in a penalty shoot-out, he said: “No, come on! Let me rest my legs. Now is the time to rest and enjoy this moment. I [then] have six days to be prepared to play a good competition [at Euro 2016]."
Portugal have a good record in European Championships. In each of the six they have previously qualified for, they've reached the quarter-finals at least, making the semi-finals three times and the final once, in 2004, when they lost to underdogs Greece on home soil.
