12 year old Payton Gibbs is on the autism spectrum. At a young age she fell in love with football stats and numbers and now helps her dad coach at Golden Gate High School in Florida. When the school district took that opportunity away from her, NC State head coach Dave Doeren stepped in. As a parent of a child on the autism spectrum himself, Doeren wrote a letter to the school district and has shined a light on their story in hopes of sparking a change.
