Manchester United are back among the goals after firing 33 shots in a 5-2 win over Ipswich - but is Michael Carrick rebuilding the fearless, attacking mentality Rio Ferdinand remembers from the Sir Alex Ferguson era?

Rio is joined by Joel Beya and Ste Howson to examine Carrick’s demand for genuine end product, Bruno Fernandes’ ability to change how opponents defend simply through his presence, and whether criticism of the United captain has become disrespectful

Where does Bruno rank alongside Eric Cantona, Michael Carrick and Juan Sebastián Verón - and how would Sir Alex have managed him?

The panel also discuss Edwin van der Sar’s assessment of Lisandro Martínez, why Rio considers him one of football’s best ball-playing centre-backs, and Kobbie Mainoo’s composed response after returning with something to prove

Ste revisits his stance on selling Marcus Rashford following the forward’s improved performance and work rate, while Rio offers advice on how Rashford could approach the negotiations around a potential new contract

Plus: the “goldfish memory” shared by great players, Rio’s experiences of Sir Alex’s team talks and all of the logistics and thought process behind the PFA voting before the trio analyse Chelsea’s exciting front three, why Cherki is Rio’s favourite player to watch and whether Gakpo fits Manchester City
