ESPN FC’s Gab Marcotti and Stewart Robson are joined by Fox Sports presenter Jan Joost Van Gangelen to discuss Manchester United’s latest signing from Ajax, midfielder Donny van be Beek. The deal worth around £40 million adds to what is already an attacking midfield with Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes. Van Gangelen explains a deal was agreed between Ajax and Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid before the global Pandemic, however the La Liga outfit pulled out due to financial reasons leading the way for Man United to seal the deal. Van Gangelen also states Van de Beek and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke prior to the deal and is convinced the Man United manager will play him as a No. 10 alongside Bruno Fernandes.
