Erling Haaland is 'INCOMPARABLE' to Lionel Messi - Pep Guardiola.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola refused to compare Erling Haaland's attention to that of Lionel Messi, and insisted the team do not envy his dominance in the media.

Haaland has taken the Premier League by storm since moving from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester in June, scoring a staggering 14 league goals in just eight games so far.

The Norwegian became the first player to score three consecutive home hat-tricks in the league, with City hosting Southampton on Saturday.

Guardiola said the 22-year-old will enjoy a holiday during the World Cup in November and December, and rubbished any comparison to the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner, Messi.
