Everton 2-2 Manchester United | The Final Word

Everton 2-2 Manchester United! Baz and Ped react to a dramatic Premier League draw at Hill Dickinson Stadium as Ainsley Maitland-Niles’ stunning 96th-minute equaliser rescued a point for the Toffees.

Everton twice came from behind against Manchester United in an incredible second half on Sunday, with Tyrique George scoring his first Everton goal before summer signing Maitland-Niles marked his debut with a sensational last-gasp strike.

Bryan Mbeumo gave Manchester United the lead just after half-time before George’s brilliant effort made it 1-1 in the 83rd minute. Benjamin Šeško looked to have won it for United with an 88th-minute header, only for Maitland-Niles to produce a spectacular equaliser with virtually the final kick of the game.

Baz and Ped give their reaction to Everton 2-2 Manchester United, discussing David Moyes’ team selection, Everton’s performance, the impact of the substitutes, Tyrique George, Ainsley Maitland-Niles’ dream debut and another memorable Premier League afternoon at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Was a draw a fair result? What did we learn about this Everton side? And how important could the character shown by the Toffees be as the season develops?
