ESPN FC’s Mark Ogden joins Kay Murray to look back on some of Sir Alex Ferguson’s less inspiring signings as Manchester United manager during his 26-year reign at the club. Ogden’s list includes the “rubbish” David Bellion, Brazilian World Cup winner Kleberson, French winger Gabriel Obertan, Portuguese midfielder Bebe and most famously, Italian goalkeeper Massimo Taibi. Surprisingly, Juan Sebastian Veron is omitted from the list with Ogden pointing to the fact he helped the club reclaim the Premier League title, and that he was unable to supplant the “brilliant” Roy Keane, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt in the Man United central midfield.
