The Inter-Mahari Football Tournament ended with dramatic penalty shootouts in both the men’s and women’s finals at P. A. Sangma Stadium in Tura. Chambugong Mahari claimed the men’s title by defeating Do’po Mahari 4–1 on penalties after a 1–1 draw. In the women’s final, Gabil Mahari dethroned defending champions Mangsang Mahari 3–2, also following a 1–1 draw. Featuring 52 clan teams, the event celebrated Garo identity, unity, and sportsmanship.
