Ian Huntley’s daughter has said she felt “relieved” when she learned his life support was switched off and said his ashes should be “flushed down the toilet”, according to an interview with The Sun on Sunday.
Huntley, 52, died in hospital after being attacked in a workshop at HMP Frankland on 26 February. He was serving life for the Soham murders of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman in 2002.
Police are still investigating the prison attack and a file is being prepared for prosecutors.
