ESPN FC’s Rob Dawson joins Kay Murray to look ahead to Manchester United’s transfer plans and Dawson picks the top three targets he thinks manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should do his best to prise to Old Trafford. Firstly, he thinks Solskjaer should do his best to sign RB Leipzig’s striker Timo Werner because he’s a “proven goalscorer” particularly because they still haven’t replaced Romelu Lukaku who they sold to Inter Milan. Next, Dawson feels Aston Villa’s star man and “leader” Jack Grealish to provide more creativity alongside Bruno Fernandes in midfield and says even though Villa won let him go without a fight, Grealish’s ambition to play at the top level could make such a move more likely. Finally, the No. 1 target Dawson would go for is Borussia Dortmund and England winger Jadon Sancho. He says Sancho is the sort of player Solskjaer can "build a team around and although there’ll undoubtedly be a lot of competition for his signature, Man Utd will be “quietly confident” they can lure him to Manchester.
