Please,not another false dawn !

With the football world's attention focused on Merseyside,Manchester United served up an early Sunday afternoon first course with an impressive 3-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion.
For only the the third time this season, they gained maximum points to lift themselves to seventh spot ahead of the two week international break.
Manager Ole Solskjaer labelled this his side's best display of the season and there was much to savour as the Reds netted three times in successive outings.
Andrea Pereira set the ball rolling when combining with a rejuvenated Anthony Martial and was fortunate to see his goalbound effort deflected past the helpless Matt Ryan.
A second followed before the break when Scott McTominay prodded home although the final touch appeared to come off a defender.
Brighton offered little up front and Premiership debutant Brandon Williams continued to look an exciting prospect at left back ,fully justifying his selection ahead of Ashley Young.
He was, however lucky,to receive a caution later on as his high tackle on Steve Alzate was deemed by VAR to warrant just a yellow card.
The visitors had four men booked but came out after the break with more purpose.
They were rewarded when Lewis Dunk powered home a corner with Harry McGuire unable to put in a telling challenge.
But any hopes of an equaliser were quickly ended when Marcus Rashford drove home via the crossbar a couple of minutes later.
The England striker should have made it four not long after but somehow managed to fire wide from a couple of yards out and missed another opening as United became totally dominant.
Williams was also close to his first goal for the club as the chances came and went with Fred seeing his drive deflected against the woodwork by a somewhat fortunate Ryan.
So its four wins in five and again much optimism that a serious tilt at a top four finish is within their capabilities
Let's hope that this time the Reds can continue to build a head of steam with a strong end to the year ahead of the transfer window looming in January.
