Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium will feel far from empty when the side return there to face Sheffield United in the Premier League on Wednesday evening (June 24).
With the Covid-19 pandemic meaning fans are unable to attend the match in person, the club have made up for their absence by wrapping the upper tiers of the famous stadium with the images of 40,000 fans from over 190 countries.
The lower tier of the Sir Alex Ferguson stand also sports a banner reading "UNITED FOR
THE HEROES" in recognition of health and frontline workers who have battled the coronavirus pandemic.
