ESPN FC’s Mark Ogden joins Kay Murray to discuss his piece on why Manchester United have seen out another disappointing transfer window, highlighted with deadline day moves for Edinson Cavani and defender Alex Telles. Ogden reveals that Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a right to be frustrated that none of the players on his list of targets, including Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano, Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Man City’s Nathan Ake, came even close to coming to Old Trafford. He argues that the allure of European football and high wages still make Man United an enticing club for players, but the lack of organization of Ed Woodward and the board keeps getting in the way.
