eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 (officially abbreviated eFootball PES 2020, also called eFootball Winning Eleven 2020 in Japan) is a soccer simulation video game developed by PES Productions and published by Konami. It was announced at E3 2019 on June 11, 2019.1
The game is the 19th installment in the Pro Evolution Soccer video game series and was released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 10 (and September 12 for these platforms in Japan). The new game features a name change this year with the addition of "eFootball" within the title symbolizing a boost in the online gaming space with a focus on eFootball.Open and eFootball.Pro tournaments. Lionel Messi returns as the star of the cover of the standard edition, since his last appearance on the cover of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, while Ronaldinho makes his debut in the saga with the cover of the "legend" edition.
A free to play version called eFootball PES 2020 Lite was released in December 2019. In this version it is possible to play friendly matches, competitive online multiplayer (called efootball) and Matchday and MyClub modes.
