Portugal, without Cristiano Ronaldo, has trained on Wednesday at Cidade do Futebol in Lisbon ahead of their friendly against Sweden.

Despite being named in Roberto Martinez's preliminary 32-man squad, the 39-year-old has been left out of Thursday's game in Guimaraes.

He joins Diogo Dalot, Joao Cancelo, Danilo Pereira, Otavio, Ruben Neves, Vitinha and Joao Felix on the list of players who have been rested for this match.

They will be back in action when Portugal face Slovenia on March 26th.

Portugal will complete their preparation for Euro 2024 with friendlies against Finland, Croatia and Republic of Ireland in early June.
