Cristiano Ronaldo walked straight down the tunnel after Portugal beat Norway 2-1 in Oslo. I don't think the bench is what hurt him. Gonçalo Ramos started in his place and scored the winner in the Nations League, four years after his hat-trick against Switzerland in Qatar. The coach who benched him is Jorge Jesus, his Al Nassr manager.
