Russia: Mexico national football team arrive in Kazan ahead of Confederations Cup

The Mexican national football team landed in Kazan International Airport, Wednesday, ahead of the FIFA 2017 Confederations Cup.

Winners of the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup Mexico are set to face 2016 UEFA European Championship winners Portugal in their first match this Sunday.

The first match of the tournament will be played between New Zealand and host nation Russia at St. Petersburg's Krestovsky Stadium on Saturday.

Eight teams: Russia, Germany, Chile, Australia, Mexico, Portugal, New Zealand and Cameroon will compete in 16 matches for the 2017 Confederation Cup title.
