Sacramento’s Katie Talbert had the biggest opportunity of her life as she recently signed with SL Benfica in Portugal, which plays in the Champions League. “This is definitely the biggest signing that I’ve had. This is known as the biggest club in the world, as they call themselves,” Talbert said. Talbert started playing the beautiful game of soccer at the age of 4. “My parents put me in competitive soccer played for Boca Juniors until I was like 15 and then I played for Sac United," she said.
