Mike Burrowes, 38, from Cleckheaton, West Yorks, has supported Ava, now ten, throughout her football journey when he took her to her first session at just four years old. This young girls journey has not been an easy one and Ava has been subjected to laugher and even ridiculed during her younger years just for playing this sport. However, Ava's passion and determination has sailed her through these tough times and she is now playing at her second academy team, Manchester United.
