Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have agreed to a new contract and will support him with up to four new signings in the upcoming transfer window.

The announcement has been delayed due to the embarrassing defeat to Villarreal and is likely to be officially confirmed after the signing of Jadon Sancho.

Solskjaer guided United to a 2nd-placed finish in the Premier League this season and is still searching for his first trophy as manager at Old Trafford after his side were beaten by Villarreal in the Europa League final on Wednesday evening.
