Something could be about to change at Manchester United.

Christopher Vivell’s future has become a major talking point amid reported interest from elsewhere, including Bayern Munich — and if United were to lose him, the consequences could go far beyond one recruitment executive. With questions surrounding United’s recruitment structure, reported differences involving Jason Wilcox, and the wider INEOS rebuild, what happens next could be hugely important.

In this video, we look at what Vivell has actually done at Manchester United, why his potential departure would matter, the questions surrounding United’s recruitment strategy, and the potential candidates who could replace him — including figures from highly respected recruitment operations at Brentford and Bournemouth.

Is Manchester United facing a major recruitment problem, or could losing Vivell ultimately lead to an even bigger change in how the club operates?
