As the saying goes a game of two halves, it was more a game of four quarters. It was a very a fragmented game without much fluidity. The intensity in the game came and went, both sides weren't amazing defensively but there was a lack of creativity between both sides. The game was very open and stretched in patches but neither team was able to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and control it. A draw was probably a fair result, neither team deserved to win but neither team really deserved to lose. A score of 2-2 to the non watcher suggests a much more entertaining game than it was, lacked the usual fervour of a regular season game.
