खेलकुदमा फिजियोथेरापिस्टको ठूलो भूमिका हुन्छ । खेलाडीलाई चोटपटक लागेपछि पुनर्स्थापना मात्र होइन, चोट लाग्न नदिन पनि फिजियोले रोकथामका लागि विभिन्न कदम चालिरहेका हुन्छन् । नेपाली खेलकुदमा फिजियोको उपस्थिति पछिल्लो समय बढ्दो छ । तर महिला फिजियो भने निकै कम छन् । संयोगवश ए डिभिजन लिग अन्तर्गत शुक्रबार मनाङ मर्स्याङ्दी र फ्रेन्ड्स क्लब खेल्दा दुवै टोलीको फिजियोमा महिला थिए । फ्रेन्ड्समा राष्ट्रिय टोली समेत हेरिसकेकी नविना श्रेष्ठ वैद्य थिइन् भने मनाङमा उमेर समूहको टोली हेरिसकेकी कर्मा गुरुङ । दुवैले यिनै क्लबमार्फत फुटबलमा प्रवेश गरेका थिए ।
