BEHIND THE SCENES: Samuel Umtiti’s presentation as a new FC Barcelona player

French international defender Samuel Umtiti, fresh from impressing at Euro 2016 is now officially an FC Barcelona player after a busy Thursday at the Camp Nou. The 22 year old had medical checks in the morning, and after signing his five-year contract in the president’s office he then went out to enjoy his his presentation to the fans and then attended a media conference, where he answered questions from the world’s press
Our cameras were with him from start to finish, and all the best bits have been captured in this eight-minute video as FC Barcelona said ‘bienvenue’ to the Cameroon born Frenchman, who is set to make the centre of the FCB defence even more solid than ever.

El internacional francés y nuevo jugador del FC Barcelona Samuel Umtiti comenzaba su estancia en Barcelona el jueves por la tarde con la habitual foto en frente de las oficinas del Camp Nou. Viernes por la mañana llegaba el turno de la revisión médica en el Hospital de Barcelona y las pruebas posteriores a la Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper.
Umtiti volvía al Camp Nou después de la sesión fotográfica de rigor para llevar a cabo uno de los momentos más formales de la presentación. Acompañado de amigos y familiares, el central firmaba el contrato que le vincula al Club para las próximas cinco temporadas y se trasladaba al césped del Camp Nou para ser presentado ante medios y aficionados.
