LFCTV will mark the 50th anniversary of Liverpool FC’s 1965 FA Cup Final win with a brand new documentary on Friday 1 May at 8pm (BST).
‘EE-AYE-ADDIO - 1965 And All That’ relives the club’s momentous first-ever triumph in a competition it had longed to win for 73 years.
In defeating Leeds United at Wembley, Bill Shankly’s team wrote their names indelibly into Liverpudlian folklore.
This 70-minute documentary retraces that year’s epic march to glory and is brought vividly to life with an extensive archive of rare and previously unseen colour footage from the final.
‘EE-AYE-ADDIO - 1965 And All That’ premieres on Friday 1 May at 8pm on LFCTV (LFCTV is available on Sky channel number 429. Virgin Media customers can access the on channel on 544) and will air throughout May.
