Final training ahead of USA tour

After taking Tuesday off, FC Barcelona’s first team were back in business today at the Ciutat Esportiva for their final training session ahead of their tour of the United States. Ernesto Valverde called upon a full complement of players, barring the absent Jordi Alba.

Adrian Ortolá, Jokin Ezkieta, and Carles Aleñá from Barça B were also involved.

This was the manager’s first chance to really run the rule over new boy Nélson Semedo, with the Portuguese wing back taking part in his first session with his new team mates. Later on today at 4.00pm CET, the squad will fly out to New Jersey to start their twelve day American tour.
