Final training session before Athletic clash

FC Barcelona are ready to take on Athletic Club after completing their final training session on Friday before the meeting between the two sides at Camp Nou on Saturday (kick-off 4.15pm CET).
Luis Enrique oversaw the session at the Ciutat Esportiva with all available first team players at his disposal, including the additions of Sergio Busquets, Lucas Digne and Andrés Iniesta.
Barça enter the game against the Basques on the back of an impressive 2-1 win in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals against Atlético Madrid.
It may be just the second month of the year but Saturday’s match will be the third meeting between Barça and Athletic, with the previous two coming in the cup where the Catalans ran out 5-2 winners on aggregate.

El FC Barcelona ya está a punto para recibir al Athletic Club de Bilbao. Los jugadores disponibles del primer equipo se han ejercitado este viernes en el campo número 2 de la Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper para terminar de preparar el duelo correspondiente a la jornada 21 de Liga. Como novedad, hemos podido ver sobre el césped a Sergio Busquets y Lucas Digne, además de Andrés Iniesta, que ya entrenó también ayer con el equipo.
El conjunto de Luis Enrique llega después de conseguir una importante victoria el pasado miércoles en el Calderón en la ida de las semifinales de la Copa del Rey (1-2) e intentará vencer los vascos para presionar al líder de la clasificación.
Un duelo ante el Athletic Club que será el tercero que disputan los de Ernesto Valverde y los de Luis Enrique en 2017. Los dos enfrentamientos anteriores fueron en enero, en los octavos de final de la Copa del Rey, con triunfo vasco en San Mamés (2-1) y victoria azulgrana en el Camp Nou (3-1). Además, el enfrentamiento será el primer partido de la segunda vuelta de la Liga que se disputará en el Estadio.
