Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko put Manchester United 2-0 up before Liverpool fought back through Dominik Szoboszlai and Cody Gakpo. Kobbie Mainoo then scored the winner as United sealed a massive result.

Carrick reflects on Mainoo saying he loves playing for him, the players fighting for each other, the spirit in the group and the feeling of Old Trafford bouncing at full-time.

He also discusses United beating Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool during his run, Champions League qualification, his future, squad depth for next season, Bruno Fernandes being substituted late on and sends his best wishes to Sir Alex Ferguson.
