England’s first post-Gareth Southgate squad was announced the other day, with this being interim coach Lee Carsley’s debut in the role.

Lots of new faces are joining the fray, with Tino Livramento, Morgan Gibbs-White and Noni Madueke being amongst the debutants.

Notably, one name stuck out amongst the rest. The name in question is Angel Gomes, who you might remember as a young English boy coming through the ranks at Manchester United.
