Messi’s goal in the 45th minute gave him 50 on the season across all competitions. This latest achievement comes after he scored his 500th goal for the Club in the Bernabéu against Real Madrid last month. The Argentine added another to his tally in the second half from the penalty spot in Barça’s 4-1 win over the ‘Yellow Submarine’.
